7 US Incorporation Packages With Registered Agent, EIN and Bank Help

7 US Incorporation Packages With Registered Agent, EIN and Bank Help

Seven US incorporation packages compared on where the registered agent, the EIN and banking help actually sit. The EIN is free from the IRS, so any fee buys the filing rather than the number. Four of the seven do not publish what registered agent service costs in year two, which is where the ranking changes.

Only one provider here bundles all three pieces at no extra cost: Inc Authority advertises a free EIN, a free first year of registered agent and free business bank account setup in the same order. Swyft Filings puts the banking paperwork in its $169 Standard tier alongside the operating agreement. ZenBusiness includes both registered agent and EIN in its $199 Pro tier. MyCorporation starts at $109 but puts the agent in the $234 Deluxe tier and sells the EIN separately. LegalZoom bundles the EIN into its $249 Pro tier. SRGA Global quotes per engagement and handles bank account opening as a service. BizFilings is Wolters Kluwer's incorporation arm, and its pricing page blocks automated access, so confirm its numbers directly.

Forming a US company looks straightforward until the sequence trips you up. The state wants a registered agent on file before it accepts the filing. The IRS wants an EIN before payroll, tax or banking can move. The bank account, the step that makes the company actually usable, can stall for weeks if you live abroad. Miss one piece and you end up paying for services you cannot yet use.

Key takeaways

  • The three pieces are a registered agent, an EIN and a bank account. Bundling matters less than knowing which tier each one actually sits in.
  • The EIN is free from the IRS. Any fee you pay for it covers the filing, not the number.
  • Renewal pricing is where the ranking changes, and most providers do not publish it. Of the seven here, only ZenBusiness publishes what its paid tiers cost in year two.
  • "Bank account help" means two different things: a banking resolution document, or an actual guided application. Ask which one you are buying.

What a package actually contains

  • The state filing. Articles of organisation for an LLC, certificate of incorporation for a C-Corp.
  • A registered agent. A person or company with a physical address in your state to receive legal and tax notices. Not optional, and the most common gap in a free tier.
  • An EIN. Free from the IRS, which publishes its own guidance on employer identification numbers. A provider fee covers preparing and submitting the application, which is worth something if you have no SSN and must file by phone, fax or mail.
  • An operating agreement or bylaws.
  • Banking support, which ranges from a one-page resolution to a guided application.

Our guide to entity formation and compliance services covers how these pieces connect to the filings that follow.

The seven in detail

1. Inc Authority

The only provider here advertising all three pieces free in one order: a free EIN, a free first year of registered agent and free business bank account setup. For a first-time founder that removes three decisions at once.

Read the fine print on speed. The page advertises free 24-hour processing in one place and an average completion of 2 to 5 business days in another. Both claims sit on the same page, which tells you the 24 hours describes their handling rather than your certificate.

The real question is year two. Inc Authority does not publish what registered agent service costs after the free year, and its own comparison table shows competitors at $199 to $299. Ask for the renewal figure in writing before you treat the free year as a saving.

Best for: first-time founders who want the three core items handled in a single order.

2. Swyft Filings

Basic is $0 plus state fees. Standard at $169, discounted from $199, is the interesting tier: it adds the operating agreement, custom organisational minutes, a custom banking resolution and what the company calls business banking essentials. For anyone who needs paperwork a bank will accept, that bundle is coherent.

The gap: registered agent service is a separate product and the pricing page does not state its cost or billing cycle. The $29 a month figure on that page is a business address and virtual mailbox, which is a different service. Price the agent before you compare Standard with anything else.

Best for: founders who want the banking paperwork done properly and will choose a registered agent separately.

3. ZenBusiness

Starter is $0 plus state fees with standard processing of 7 to 10 business days. Pro at $199 a year and Premium at $299 a year both file within one business day and both include registered agent service. Pro includes the EIN, which is a $99 add-on on Starter. Velo, its AI guide, comes with every plan.

ZenBusiness is also the only provider here that publishes its renewal prices plainly: Pro renews at $199 and Premium at $299.

The gap: Starter includes no registered agent, so for most founders the real entry point is $199, not $0.

Best for: founders who want transparent renewal pricing and fast filing.

4. MyCorporation

Four tiers, all plus state fees: Basic $109, Standard $134, Deluxe $234 and Premium $334. Standard adds bylaws, minutes and waivers plus annual report service. Registered agent appears at Deluxe and above.

The gaps, and there are two. The EIN is not in any package: it is listed as a separate service with no published price, and one of the company's own FAQs says a complete formation service includes an EIN application, which contradicts the package lists. The registered agent renewal price is not published either.

Best for: founders who prefer to assemble services tier by tier and will call to pin down the EIN question.

5. LegalZoom

Basic is $0 plus state fees. Pro at $249 includes the operating agreement, the EIN and attorney consultations. Premium at $299 adds bookkeeping tools.

Watch the renewals. Attorney access renews at $49 a month after the included 30 days, and bookkeeping at $9.99 a month after its included period. Registered agent is a paid add-on rather than part of any tier.

Best for: founders who want attorney access available and will note two renewal dates in their calendar.

6. SRGA Global

A cross-border advisory firm with offices in India, the US and the UAE, over 150 professionals and more than 30 years behind it. Its US service covers LLC and C-Corp incorporation, registered agent, operating agreements and bank account opening, quoted per engagement rather than sold in tiers.

The reason to pay for a quote rather than click a $0 plan is structural advice: entity design that accounts for your home country, which is what determines whether you spend the next three years handling double taxation. A 30-minute first call costs nothing.

Best for: founders in India or the UAE who want structure advice alongside the filing.

7. BizFilings

Wolters Kluwer's incorporation and compliance service, with a long history in the category. Its pricing page blocks automated access, so we could not verify its current package prices, registered agent terms or renewal costs, and we have not repeated the figures circulating in third-party reviews.

Best for: founders who want a provider backed by a large compliance publisher and are willing to get a quote directly. Ask for the registered agent renewal price in the same email.

How to choose

  1. Compare renewals, not headlines. A free first year of registered agent is a discount, not a price. Four of these seven do not publish year two.
  2. Ask who files the EIN and how long it takes. The IRS charges nothing. If you have no SSN, the value is in someone handling the Form SS-4 route competently.
  3. Pin down what "bank account help" means. A banking resolution is a document. A guided application is a service. They are not interchangeable, and only the second one helps a founder abroad.
  4. Plan past the filing. Tax filings and payroll follow quickly, and our guides to cross-border tax compliance costs and international payroll compliance mistakes cover what arrives next.
  5. Consider whether you need an advisor at all. If your tax position spans countries, integrated tax advisory and compliance saves hiring a second firm later. If it does not, a $199 tier is enough.

Limitations

Prices come from each provider's published pages in November 2026 and exclude state fees. Several providers publish no renewal price for registered agent service, and we have left those cells empty rather than quote figures from third-party review sites, many of which are published by competitors. BizFilings blocks automated access, so none of its figures are verified here. Review counts and star ratings move constantly and are not reproduced. We have not used any of these services.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get an EIN without an SSN or ITIN?

Yes. The online application requires one, but applicants without an SSN or ITIN can apply by phone, fax or mail using Form SS-4. The IRS sets out each route on its page on getting an employer identification number.

What is Form 5472 and who files it?

An information return for US companies with foreign owners. A foreign-owned single-member LLC files it with a pro forma Form 1120 even when no tax is due, and the penalty for missing it starts at $25,000. The IRS sets out the requirement on its Form 5472 page. No package in this comparison files it for you.

Do I still file a beneficial ownership report?

Not if the company is formed in the US. Under FinCEN's 2026 final rule, US-formed companies are exempt. The rules have changed more than once, so check FinCEN's BOI page before acting.

LLC or C-Corp for a non-resident founder?

A C-Corp if you expect to raise venture funding, because investors expect it. An LLC if the business is small or bootstrapped. S-Corp status is closed to non-resident alien shareholders, so it is not an option for most founders abroad.

Is Delaware the best state?

It is the default for startups because of its corporate law and dedicated business courts, and the Delaware Division of Corporations publishes its own filing options. If you operate from another state, you will probably need to register there as a foreign company too, which means two agents and two sets of fees.

Can I open the bank account remotely?

Sometimes. Most large banks want an in-person visit; fintech providers generally allow a remote application. Have the formation documents, the EIN confirmation, the operating agreement and your passport ready either way.

Conclusion

Send these five questions to your two shortlisted providers before paying:

  • What is my total cost on day 400, including registered agent renewal, state annual fees and any compliance service?
  • Who files the EIN, how long does it take, and what do I receive?
  • Which bank do you work with, and what will it ask me for?
  • If I am not a US resident, which steps can I complete remotely?
  • Who do I speak to if the state rejects the filing?

The provider that answers in plain numbers, in writing, is usually the one that is still easy to deal with in month eight.

Prices exclude state filing fees and were taken from each provider's published pages in November 2026. Several providers do not publish registered agent renewal prices, and those cells are left empty rather than filled from third-party review sites.

How we built this comparison: we used each provider's own pricing pages. Where a page blocked automated access or omitted a figure, we say so rather than substitute a number from a competitor's review page.
